Broken Bow's Thanksgiving Dinner Committee is busy gearing up in preparation for the Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Thursday, Nov. 24. The dinner is served at the Broken Bow Municipal Auditorium and is open to anyone and everyone. Serving will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. If you would like to help, here is how to get involved:

As you make your way around Broken Bow this weekend, you're likely to notice lots of individuals dressed in camouflage as the community welcomes hunting enthusiasts from all across the U.S. for the 51st Annual One Box Pheasant Hunt.
There will be eight teams competing in this yearâs event for the third time in the eventâs 51 years, said Thomas McCaslin, event chair.
âThe momentum is there. There will be lots of good shooters competing.â
