Family Furniture begins 25th year

In March 1986, Ron and Cheri Chytka took a chance at starting their own business. A chance that has proven to be an excellent move.
The Chytkas have held to their philosophy of “Having good quality furniture at a fair price, and you’ll get repeat customers” and opening two stores - one in Broken Bow and one in Ord - and after 25 years of business, it seems to have worked for them.

Melvin Lyle Poland, age 57 of Broken Bow, died Feb. 25, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with the Rev. Dan Rowlison officiating. Interment will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice. Visitation will be held Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary.
