Tackling childhood obesity, providing more nutritious meals for children - these are what you might call “hot button” topics right now. However, some caretakers of our youngest children are now trying to figure out how to provide those nutritious meals on less money.
Several Broken Bow in-home day care providers received letters from the food program a couple of weeks ago, informing them that the reimbursement they receive for the meals and snacks they provide is being cut - drastically cut.
