In team play, South Loup sits at 12th with a total of 383 and Mullen is in 15th with 429.
After the first round of play, Tanner Johnson sits tied for 10th overall with an 81. Marcus Miller is tied for 28th after the first round with an 87. According to the NSAA scoreboard, Johnson tees of at 11 am today and Miller tees off at 9:50 to start round 2.
After a grueling interview process of seven candidates last Wednesday night, the Broken Bow School Board elected David Glendy to serve as the new member, replacing the retiring Don Davis. Glendy was sworn in by Superintendent Dr. Virginia Moon at the board's regular monthly meeting Monday evening.

Jennie Melham Memorial Medical Center hosted an open house and ribbon cutting event Sunday for the brand new Wellness Center. An addition was built on the north side of the Ellen B. Marachek Tennis Center at Tomahawk Park to house the Wellness Center, allowing patrons to utilize the tennis court as well.
A large crowd was in attendance Sunday afternoon for the event, and many took the opportunity to test out some of the new equipment.

The Twin Loup mens team finished 2nd overall for the Class D mens side. Ansley-Litchfield's women side took 4th overall. Twin Loup won state titles in the 4x400 meter relay and the long jump. The Twin Loup boys set a new personal best and won gold Saturday in the 4x100 meter relay at the State High School Track Meet in Omaha. The team of Guy Fenske, Kirby Pomplun, Tyke Kozeal and Jed Fenske will also go down in the record book by besting the Class D State Record: 43.73 set by St. Edward in 2002.

Joe E. Bradley, age 78 of Ansley, died Friday May 11, 2012 at his home in Ansley. Funeral services were May 14, at the Christian Church in Ansley, with the Rev. Mel Shepherd officiating. Burial was in the Merna Cemetery with military rites. Memorials made be made to the Ansley Christian Church, Sandhills Cancer Fund, or Hospice.
Joe was born Jan. 10, 1934, in Ellis County, Okla., to Wallace and Oleta (Riggs) Bradley. Joe married Betty Lou Hendershot May 30, 1959. Betty Lou died in 2009.
