There is a certain amount of anxiety that just naturally seems to come with the anticipated arrival of a first child. But about half way through their first pregnancy, Cassie and TR Anderson received news that raised that level of anxiety to a whole new level.

Kimaree (Behrends) Woodward admits she was not like alot of other girls growing up. While other girls were playing house, Kimaree was learning how to shoot guns and bows and arrows.
She says she has always been an “outdoors woman”, and when her dad happened to run across a TV show dedicated to women just like her, he immediately called her and told her about it.

It was reported in the Feb. 7 edition of the Custer County Chief that the Broken Bow boys basketball team lost to Ogallala 59-39. Broken Bow was actually the winner of the game 59-39. The Chief apologizes for the error and any confusion it may have caused,
