Floyd Lehmann, age 57, of Dunning, died March 28, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Funeral services were March 31, 2012, at the Open Bible Church in Dunning, with the Rev. Ralph McKay officiating. Burial was in the Dunning Cemetery, with Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
Harold L. Englert, 84, of North Platte, passed away March 27, 2012. He was born Dec. 3, 1927, to Lewis and Emma (Heins) Englert at Lodgepole.
He grew up in Dunning, before entering the service at age 18. He served as a member of the U.S. Army in WWII from 1946 to 1948. He was recalled to serve in the Korean Conflict from October 1950 to 1951, spending his time in Korea and Japan. He received a WWII Victory Medal and Army Occupation Medal in Japan.
Carl D. Eacker, 80, of Penrose, Colo., died Monday, March 5, 2012. He was born Sept. 6, 1931, in Merna.
Carl served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked at the Climax Molybdenum mine in Leadville, Colo., for 17 years. He was always fixing cars and loved doing it throughout his life.
He taught the mechanic trade to his children, their children, and his great-grandchildren.
Carl enjoyed hunting, camping and most of all, spending time with his large family.
