Stanley John Nordlund, age 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Aug. 14, 2012, at the Rose Lane Home in Loup City.
A celebration of his life was Aug. 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Loup City, with Pastor Del Unruh officiating. Burial was at Tallin Cemetery near Arnold.
Stanley was born April 1, 1927, to Axel and Mabel (Tallin) Nordlund at the family farm on Tallin Table. Mabel was told she had given birth to a baby girl and was then handed a precious little baby boy âApril Foolsâ! He was the youngest of six children.
