Charles D. Swisher was born May 19, 1929, in Halsey, to Lewis and Mary (Ott) Swisher.Â Charles attended school at Rose Hill Country School and later Halsey School until 5th grade.Â
In 1960, he was married to Brenda Oxford.Â Three children were born to this union; Jim, Bonnie and Charles Jr.Â
Charles later married Marilyn Saner April 21, 1984.Â They made their home in Halsey.Â
Through the years Charles worked as a ranch hand and later at the Halsey Forest.Â
Donald Duane Skeen, 72, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at Ashley Manor in Chubbuck, Idaho.
Funeral Services will be at a later date in Broken Bow. Â
Arrangements are under the direction of Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Cecil Dale Smith, 91, of Grand Island, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at Bickford Cottage.

He was born April 17, 1923, at his parentsâ€™ home in Fullerton. He grew up on the family farm.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a cryptographer.
He was united in marriage June 22, 1947, to Ethel Georgia Omer in Fullerton.
Leslie E. Kleeb, 96, passed away after a brief illness Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice Legacy in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Aug. 18, 1918, outside Broken Bow, to John Ulrich Kleeb and Lillian Grace Leck Kleeb.
In 1942 he married Jackie Shadden and they moved to Denver, Colo.
Leslie enlisted in the Army Air Corps and graduated from flight school in Pecos, Texas. He became a flight instructor and achieved the rank of Captain.
Donna L. Staab, age 82 of Broken Bow, passed away Nov. 12, 2014, at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with the Rev. Mel Shepherd officiating.Â
Burial will be at a later date.Â

Donna L. Staab was born April 1, 1932, to Arlene Hastings. June 20, 1954, she was married to Robert Dean Staab, in Ansley.
Dwight Eliot Porter was born October 13, 1961, in Ord, to Lawrence and Marlyn (Jensen) Porter. He was the second of five children. His mother passed away when Dwight was six years old. Dwight attended school in Bassett, Ord, Springview and Central City. August 3, 1967, he accepted Christ.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Michael L. McCarty, 59, of Grand Island, NE died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, as the result of a fatal plane crash in Paulding County, Ohio.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St Mary's Cathedral, Grand Island, NE with Reverend Richard Piontkowski officiating. Reception and dinner to follow at St. Mary's Parish Center. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be at a later date.Â Apfel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Funeral Services for Dwight E. Porter, age 53, of Taylor, will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth.
Burial will be in the Bassett MemorialPark Cemetery at Bassett.
Dwight Porter passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at the Great Plains Regional Medical Centerat North Platte, Nebraska.
Beatta P. Jameson, 83 of Greeley, Colo., passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at the Fairacres Manor Nursing Home in Greeley.
She was born April 1, 1931, in Ravenna, to August W. and Percilla (Fisher) Hauser.
Beatta married Edgar Ralph Jameson in 1948 in Thedford. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2007. She attended the Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Greeley for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathrine Hunter; two sons, John and Ralph Jameson; a brother, Burdell Hauser; a sister, Gwendola Palmer; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Martha Lee Sutton, 85, of Sargent, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at Burwell.
Services for Bobby, who died Oct. 18, 2014, and Martha Lee Sutton were Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. at the United Methodist Church in Sargent, with Pastors Cliff Reynolds and Marvin Bauer officiating. Burial was at the West Union Cemetery, west of Sargent.
Rhoad Funeral Home of Sargent, was in charge of arrangements.
