Henry âHankâ Conrad Struempler, age 90, of Broken Bow, formerly of Berwyn, went to be with his Lord and SaviorÂ Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Golden LivingCenter in Broken Bow.
Henry was born April 4, 1924, to Fritz and Minnie (Schwarze) Struempler west of Oconto.Â
April 29, 1945, he was united in marriage to Arlene Knispel, daughter of William and Clara Knispel, at the Buffalo Lutheran Church.Â When first married, they lived and farmed on Redfern Table near Oconto. In 1949 they purchased a farm near Berwyn, where they made their home and raised four children.
Marlene D. Raymond, 77, of Madison, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28
Mrs. Raymond was preceded in death by her parents, Renold E. Dutton and Sarah L. Dutton; and brother, Douglas Dutton.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Raymond; children, Scott Raymond of Orlando, Fla., Dee Ann Cypent (David) of Madison, Bruce Raymond (Sherry) of Madison, and Robert Raymond of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Reese Mitchell, Cassie Mitchell and Matthew Raymond; brother, Richard Dutton; and sister, Carol McAlhaney.
Fern Hall age 96 of Arnold, passed away Jan. 30, 2015.Â
Memorial services will be held at a later date.Â

George Norman Mandeville, age 90, of Dunning passed away Feb. 1, 2015.
Born in Mullen, to Robert G. and Ruth A. (Ferguson) Mandeville March 12, 1924. Married Zelda Josephine Little Feb. 15, 1947.
George was a veteran (Marine), rancher and retired US. Forest Service Range Manager. A member of the VFW, American Legion and the Custer Masonic Lodge 148 Broken Bow.
He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed.
George was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Mandeville; and wife, Zelda (Little) Mandeville.
Betty Jean Hagan of Mason City, died at Good Samaritan Hospital Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015.
Services for her will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, Feb. 5, at the First Baptist Church of Mason City. Â The Rev. Rodger McDermott will officiate and burial will be in the Mason City Cemetery.

Betty was born in Campbell, Oct. 20, 1927 to John and Jewel Golter. She attended country schools near Campbell and Arnold and high school in Sumner.
Major Richard âRickâ M. Ramirez, 81, of Loveland, Colo., passed away at his home Jan. 15, 2015.
Richard was born to Salvador and Gloria (Bargas) Ramirez Dec. 30, 1933, in Detroit, Mich.
He began working at an early age, and earned a certificate of merit for outstanding record as a Detroit Times news carrier when he was 14 years old. At age 17 he began an apprenticeship at Ford Motor Company in die making.
Jamison L. âJJâ Vanderheiden, age 18, of York, , died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at York.
He was born Oct. 3, 1996, in San Diego, Calif., to Randy and Julie (Weverka) Vanderheiden.
JJ was a senior at York High School where he excelled in football, wrestling and soccer and had been recruited by Hastings College to play football next year. JJ was also involved with FFA. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York.
Margaret Spies, of Merrill, Iowa entered Eternal Life Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Unity Point-St. Lukeâs Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa at the age of 105 years, 13 days.
Services were Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at the Melbourne United Methodist Church, rural Merrill, Iowa with Pastor Kolleen Queener officiating. Interment followed at Floyd Valley Cemetery, rural Hinton, Iowa.

Louana Schall, 79, of Kearney, formerly of Litchfield, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at the Litchfield United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Litchfield Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family to designate at a later date. Rasmussen Funeral Home of Ravenna was in charge of arrangements.
Louana was born June 20, 1935, in Loup City, the daughter of Ross and Ruth (Heins) Douglas.Â She grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1952.Â
Oma Maxine Hyatt, age 96, passed from this life Sunday morning, Jan. 25, 2015, at Heritage Hall in Broken Bow.
Maxine was born to Lloyd and Eulalia (Smith) Hyatt Jan. 30, 1918, near Merna. She was raised in rural Custer County and learned at an early age the value of honesty and hard work from her parents and grandparents.
She accepted Christ as her Savior as a young girl and was baptized July 2, 1933.
