Donna Fells, age 84, of Arcadia, passed peacefully from this life Feb. 18, 2015, at Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln.
Donna was born Sept. 12, 1930, to Jake and Oril (Sell) Greenland in Arcadia.Â
Gladys Dorothy (Kirchmann)(Williamson) Germann, 77, was born Oct. 18, 1937, to Norman and Margaret (Adams) Kirchmann in Broken Bow, and died Feb. 15, 2015, in Oakland, Calif.
She was a granddaughter of Russell and Ruth Gladys (Van Dyke) Adams, and Wilhelm and Lena Dorothea (Wicht) Kirchmann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Williamson; a daughter-in-law, Susan Williamson; and a granddaughter, Laura Williamson.
Clyde L. Hunt, age 83 of Grand Island, formerly of Arcadia, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island.
Funeral services were Friday Feb. 20, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Arcadia with the Rev.Jeff Hale officiating. Burial was in the Arcadia Cemetery with Military Honors.
Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow was in charge of the arrangements.
Warren L. Ellis, from Broken Bow, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln.Â
Warren was a long-time businessman, family-man and supportive resident of Broken Bow. He had been living at Gramercy Hill Retirement home in Lincoln, since July 2014. He absolutely loved living at Gramercy Hill and made many friends there.
Warren was the son of W. Leland and Mary (Owen) Ellis of Wayne.Â He was born April 27, 1931, at Randolph.Â
Jack W. H. Crouch, 84, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, after a battle with cancer.
Jack was born March 9, 1930, on the family dairy farm to Claude E. and Alice I. (Andrews) Crouch, in Broken Bow.
Jack attended and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1947. He joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1953.
He and Betty met in OâNeill, NE and were married in Norfolk, Nov. 24, 1954.
Barbara (Barb) Rae (Ferguson) Wells a long time resident of Broken BowÂ died Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, at the age of 68.
Barb was born Jan. 13, 1947,Â to Ivan and Donita Ferguson in Broken Bow.
Barb graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1965. After High School Barb married Carlie J. Wells and they worked for several ranches in Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota.
To this marriage they welcomed five children, Corrina, Carla, Carey, Carlie and Carmen.
Fern W. Schroeder Hall was born Jan. 16, 1919, at Bartlett, Iowa, to John Henry and Alta M. (Gibson) Schroeder. She departed this life to be with her Savior Jan. 30, 2015, at the Callaway Good Life Center.
She was one of 12 children. At the age of seven her family moved to Nebraska. They lived near Broken Bow, Ansley, Dunning and Arnold.
Fern attended Arnold High School, where she graduated in 1936.
She was baptized in âChristâ as a young woman and her faith continued to grow until she departed this life.
Donald L. Whiteman, age 70 of Broken Bow, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, in the United Methodist Church.
Burial was in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Military Rites.Â
Donnie attended Dunning High School and then joined the Navy in 1962 and was stationed in the Philippines for three years.Â
He than was married to Lois Barrett in 1966 and two children were born, Sheri and Teri.Â
Donald C. âBillâ Thessen, 89 of Albion, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Albion, with the Rev. Larry Barbary officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery at Albion with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 162 and VFW Post 736 of Albion.

Darrell Dale Gould, 69 of Arcadia, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at his home in Arcadia.
Funeral Services were Friday, Feb. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the Arcadia United Methodist Church with Pastor Ray Berry officiating.
Burial was in the Arcadia City Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Arcadia Rescue Unit or the Faith Bible Church.
Ord Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Darrell was born June 20, 1945, in Loup City, to Don and Florene (Hunt) Gould. Darrell grew up north of Arcadia on the Gould Farm 5 G Ranch.
