The Broken Bow Lady Indians are in Atkinson today for the District C-3 at the Atkinson-Stuart Country Club. The Mullen girls golf team will travel to Bayard for the District C-5 meet at the Chimney Rock Golf Course.

MULLEN -- The Mullen Lady Broncos won the 4-Courners Tournament Saturday defeating Stapleton/McPherson County in straight sets 25-22 and 25-10. The Lady Broncos reached the championship game by edging Sandhills/Thedford 22-25, 25-23 and 25-19. Stapleton/McPherson County reached the championship with a two set win over Sargent 25-19 and 25-18. Sargent defeated Sandhills/Thedford 25-14 and 25-21 for third place.

BROKEN BOW -- The Broken Bow Indians dominated the Ainsworth Bulldogs Friday night picking up their first district win. The Indians scored quickly and often in the first quarter. Tyler Kozisek was on the receiving end of a Nathan Scott pass good for a 30-yard touchdown then Adam Pracht scored with a 70-yard run on the Indian's next possession to give the Indians an quick 14-0 lead in route to a 44-0 win.
Defensively, the Indians held Ainsworth to 20 rushing yards and 49 passing yards.
