Broken Bow Catcher Seth Quackenbush had a pitch take a bad hop and catch him in the throat during the 4th inning of then Broken Bow senior baseball game against Palmer-Walbach-Greeley Sunday night.
While taking one in the throat was literal for Quackenbush, it was metaphorical for the rest of the team as PWGS rolled to a 19-3 victory in five innings.
Caleb Dodge and Josey Evans recorded Broken Bow's two hits while Hunter Campbell and Evans had the RBI's on the night with one each.
