Volunteer fire fighters come through
August 10, 2012
By BEN NELSON
U.S. Senator
In large rural states like Nebraska, we depend heavily on volunteer firefighters to protect our homes and property. These are very special people who deserve our gratitude and respect because of their selfless devotion to a part time job that requires extensive training and doesnât pay anything.
