Tara Taul & AJ Holland

Tara Lea Taul and Arthur John (AJ) Holland, along with their sons Skylen and Kaleb, joyfully announce the couple’s upcoming wedding Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.
Parents of the couple are Mike Taul and Ann Ahrens, Ellen and Jody Mortensen and Bruce Holland.
The couple will exchange their vows at Daily Park near Milburn in a 5 p.m. wedding on the Middle Loup River, with a reception following at the Broken Bow National Guard Armory.

Brittanie Berns & Destry Lamely

Wedding vows will be exchanged between Brittanie Berns and Destry Lamely Sept. 10, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Blue Hill. The future bride is the daughter of Karl and Lorie Berns of Blue Hill. Parents of the prospective groom are Sandra Lamely of Philadelphia, Mo., and Arthur Lamely of Springville, Ariz.
Brittanie is a 2007 graduate of Blue Hill High School, and a 2011 graduate of Xenen International Academy of Grand Island in cosmetology. She is employed at Costa’s Styling Salon in Broken Bow.

Emily Ann Stoltenberg and Kash Logan Tobias, both of Sargent, were united in marriage May 28, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Burwell. Pastor Matt Berndt officiated.
Parents of the couple are Todd and Michele Stoltenberg of Sargent and Kasey and Kathy Tobias of Sargent. Grandparents of the bride are Edward and Gloria Schmuecker and Ken and Shirley Stoltenberg, all of Atkinson. Grandparents of the groom are Maynard and Joan Scholl of Elgin and Zac and Roberta Tobias of Sargent.

Brenton and Jessica Kirkpatrick proudly introduce their son, Gage Smiley Kirkpatrick, born May 4, 2011 at Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Gage weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. He joins a sister, Adelyn Shea, at home.
Grandparents are Ronnie Ann and Joel Richardson of Stratton, and Bobbi and Bert Kirkpatrick of Broken Bow. Great-grandparents are Ann Wissink of Stratton, and Bettie Kirkpatrick of Broken Bow.

Krista Sabin & Jeremiah Leak

Krista Sabin and Jeremiah Leak would like to announce their upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sam and Melissa Sabin of Gothenburg. Krista is a 2008 graduate of Gothenburg High School. She has been attending Mid Plains Community College in pursuit of a degree in psychology.
The groom-to-be is the son of Rod Leak and Kathy Fritz, both of Broken Bow. Jeremiah is a 2007 graduate of Broken Bow High School and is a full time employee of Becton Dickenson.

Michaela is the daughter of Coralene Hamel of Hastings and Michael Hamel of North Platte. She is a graduate of Hastings High School and Hastings College with a degree in psychology-health/intervention emphasis.She is employed with Futures Family Services as a Youth and Family Specialists in Grand Island.

Amanda Russell and Brad Micek are planning a Sept. 30 wedding in Lincoln.
A graduate of Broken Bow High School, Russell graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She teaches at Eagle Elementary School in Eagle.
Micek, whose hometown is Waverly, graduated from Associated Builders and Contractors in Lincoln. He is employed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Parents of the couple are Roger and Judy Russell of Broken Bow, and Gary and Linda Micek of Waverly.

Beautiful rock formations surrounding a lush meadow with a creek along the edge was the location for Michelle Parman and Ryan Gift’s wedding. The couple exchanged vows at 5 p.m., July 16, at the 2 Bars Seven Ranch and moved to a tent on the meadow for the reception, supper, and dance. Parents of the couple are Linda and John Parman and Rosalea and Leon Gift.

Whitney Smith and Alex Croghan, of Broken Bow, would like to announce the arrival of their son, Malakai Donovan Alexander Croghan, born April 6, 2011, at Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Malakai weighed 5 pounds 13 1/2 ounces at birth, and was 19 inches long.
Grandparents are Tom and Dedra Smith of Loup City, and Carol Croghan of Broken Bow.
