Sadie Birnie of Minden, and David Dierking of Broken Bow, were married March 19, 2011, at the Evangelical Free Church in Minden. Parents of the couple are Tim and Emily Birnie of Minden, and Ray and Becki Dierking of Broken Bow.
Grandparents of the couple are John and Marian Birnie of Broken Bow, Ed and Charlotte Seamann of Greeley, Victor Dierking of Tecumseh, and George McGrail of Laramie, Wyo.

Chloe Brianna Lewis

Kollin and Julie Lewis of Stillwater, Okla., are happy to announce the birth of their baby girl, Chloe Brianna Lewis. She was born at Stillwater Medical Center Feb. 14, 2011, at 11:08 a.m.
Chloe weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long at birth. She is welcomed home by big brothers, Petyon - 9, and Dillon - 7.
She is also welomced by her grandparents, Will and Sharon Whitehouse of Bristow, Okla., and Keith and Juanna Beth Lewis of Darlington, Idaho, formerly of Brewster.

Jessica Glass and Colby Shea, both of Lincoln, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding April 30, 2011. The ceremony will be at the Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with the reception to follow at the Lincoln Meadows Social Hall.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Curt and Lori Glass of Lincoln. Colby’s parents are Joe and Sandra Shea of Broken Bow.

Joe and Anni Ross of Broken Bow, Alice Ross (grandmother of the bride) of Ten Sleep, Wyo, Craig Clifton of Baton Rouge, La., Deana Clifton of Cairo, and Ken and Shirley Macke (grandparents of the groom) of Mullen, would like to announce the upcoming marriage of their children, Emilie Ross and Tyler Macke.
Emilie is a 2007 graduate of Broken Bow High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Nebraska - Kearney with a bachelor of science in family studies. She plans on furthering her education by enrolling in a masters program in Oregon.

Dan and Lisa Spanel of Broken Bow, would like to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Samantha Spanel, to K.C. Livermore, son of Doug and Vicki Livermore of Sioux City, Iowa.
Samantha is a 2009 graduate of Southeast Community College in Lincoln in the dental assisting program. She is a dental assistant in Sioux City, Iowa.
K.C. is a 2007 graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa receiving a bachelor's degree in business-marketing. He is employed as an insurance adjuster.
A May 7 wedding is planned in Broken Bow.

Brian and Rhonda Smith of Loveland, Colo., and Ken and Jill Pitkin of Callaway, announce the upcoming marriage of their children, Leisha Laurén Smith and Ryan James Pitkin.
Leisha is a 2004 graduate of Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo., and a 2010 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with bachelor of arts degrees in English and German. She is currently seeking her teaching certificate and masters of education from Doane College in Lincoln.

Petyon Joel Polacek was born Feb. 17, 2011, to proud parents Mitch and Cheryl Polacek of Wahoo. He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Paul and Renee Polacek of Wahoo, and Joel and Becky Bartak of Anselmo. Great-grandparents are Emil Polacek of Wahoo, Lewis and Janet Myers of Merna, and Gloria Bartak of Broken Bow. Peyton is also welcomed by great-great-grandmother Dorothy Province of Broken Bow.
