Kyler Lynnae Jones

Riley and Christie Jones of Sumner are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Kyler Lynnae Jones, born Jan. 21, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Kyler weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She is welcomed home by brothers Reece and Maddox. Grandparents of Kyler are Margie and the late Bill Warren of Kearney, and Judy and the late Don Jones of Mason City. Great-grandparents are Wanda Trussell of Kearney, and Joe Hladky of Litchfield.

Aaron Ideus & Kimberly Pierce

The parents of Kimberly Pierce and Aaron Ideus are happy to announce the engagement of their children and upcoming marriage this June. Kimberly Pierce graduated from Callaway High School in 2007. She will graduate from Doane College with a degree in Biochemistry this May. She plans to pursue a medical degree. Her parents are Ken Pierce of Oconto, and Kay Pierce of Callaway. Aaron Ideus graduated from Free State High School, Lawrence, Kansas in 2006. He graduated from Doane College in May 2010, with degrees in Economics and Mathematics. He is currently employed in the Kansas City area.

Robert and Corinne Andreasen of Merna would like to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Katie Lynn Andreasen, to Dustin Edward Florian, son of Charles Florian of Milburn. Kate is a 2008 graduate of Anselmo-Merna High School and is currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in fashion merchandising and marketing. Dustin is a 2005 graduate of Anselmo-Merna High School and a graduate of Southeast Community College in Milford with an associates degree in electronic systems technology.

Megan Weatherwax and Joel Jacobs were united in marriage Oct. 2, 2010, at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. Parents of the couple are Charlie and Mary Weatherwax of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Kirk and Jodi Jacobs of Mullen. Attendants for the couple were Kelly Weatherwax, sister of the bride from Sioux Falls, Andy Wright of Lincoln, and Jesse Jacobs of Kearney, both brothers of the groom. A reception was held following the poolside ceremony.

Jerry and Sheryl Moulton of Holdrege, and Hal and Dawn Haeker of Alma, announce the engagement of their daughter, Niik Ann Moulton, to Cory J. Hendrickson, son of Don and Karen Hendrickson of Broken Bow.
Nikki Ann Moulton is a 2003 graduate of Alma High School. She received her bachelor of science degree in social work in 2007, at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Nikki is a clinical social worker at The Ambassador in Omaha.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Shawn and Mary Harvey of Taylor and a graduate of Loup County High School. Samantha attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney and is currently employed at the College of Saint Mary.
The prospective groom is the son of Jim and Judy Hammond and a graduate of Litchfield High School. Jeffrey is employed with Methodist Health System.
The couple is planning to be united in marriage May 21, 2011, at the Sarpy County Fairgrounds in Springfield.

Tristan Reeve Taylor was born Dec. 21, 2010, at 6:08 p.m. at Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Tristan weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long. Proud parents are Pat and Michele Taylor of Broken Bow. Proud grandparents are Dick and Jodene Taylor of Broken Bow, Pat Smith of Kearney, and Roger and Sharon Smith of Kearney.

On the magical afternoon of August 14, 2010, while surrounded by friends and family, Ohio Supreme Court Justice Robert Cupp married Whitney Rhiannon Reinhard and Christopher William Till in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter of Cindy and Chuck Wagner of Fremont, and the grandaughter of Darlene "Pug" and the late Richard Kapustka, Charles "Bub" and Wanda Sargent, and the late Jean and Jerry Reinhard, all of Broken Bow.
She graduated from Hastings College in 2006, and
is employed as the Assistant Business Manager of Glen Helen Ecology Institute.

Kay Strong & Carl Prather

Kay Marie Strong, of Grand Island, and Carl Prather, of Randall, Kan., would like to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Wayne Strong and Jill Strong of Grand Island, formerly of Broken Bow. She is a 1992 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and graduated from Drake University Law School in 1994.
Kay is currently serving as managing attorney at the Grand Island Office of Legal Aid of Nebraska.
She spent 13 years as a foster parent in Custer and Hall counties. She has six daughters and eight grandchildren.

Gwendolyn Lee Hollibaugh and Kevin John Kugler, both of Broken Bow, were united in marrriage Oct. 8, 2010. Parents of the couple are Gary and LeeAnn Govier of Eddyville, and Wilmadeen Cramer of Aurora and the late Wyvern Kugler. Attendants were Julie Klinkman and Tom Myers, both of Broken Bow. A wedding reception and Husker tailgate party was held at the Tiffany Theater in Broken Bow Nov. 20, where family and friends enjoyed the Husker game on the Big Screen.
