7th inning rally propels Spirit past Loup City

The Spirit had been in close games before during this season. None of them went as planned.In their final game of the season at Tomahawk Park, a seventh-inning rally changed all that. Broken Bow trailed 7-3 entering the final inning and then put their bats to work. Timely hitting by Tressa Ripp, Karly Boje and Jasmyn Brooks helped seal the 8-7 comeback victory for the Spirit.The game ended on an RBI single from Brooks.For complete coverage of this game, check out the July 5 edition of the Custer County Chief.
