After the loss to Texas, will the Huskers bounce back?

October 19, 2010

The loss to Texas, showed weaknesses that the Husker coaching staff must fix but I was more disturbed by how unprepared the Huskers were for this game. Offensively, it had been said by almost every sports analyst that the Huskers would not be able to run laterally against the speed of the Texas defense and the Huskers proved them right. The unwillingness of the coaching staff not to pass the ball to open running lanes may have been a mistake but they finally caught on in the fourth quarter which was a little to late. Yes the officiating was bad but the reason we lost were dropped passes and a poor offensive game plan! What are your thoughts?
