Berean Ladies to host luncheon Saturday

Jean Hoffman of Battle Creek, Iowa will be the featured speaker during the Broken Bow Berean Church's Ladies Spring Luncheon Saturday, March 31. The luncheon will begin at noon at the Broken Bow Municipal Building. This year's theme is "Walking with Christ" with the theme verse of Isaiah 40:11- "He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently
leads those that have young."

Jean and her husband Paul are the parents of 10 children and recent empty nesters. Jean and Paul have 22 grandchildren. Jean is an inspirational speaker as well as a lifeguard, EMT, and writer. She thinks laughing is good for the soul and being real is good for
growing relationships. Jean often speaks about sheep recognizing Christ as the Great Shepherd and compares mothers to Border Collies. She also makes and distributes glow-in-the dark bracelets to remind kids to be Lights in the Darkness wherever they go!
