U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama says US and Europe must face threats together during his Berlin speech. Making the only formal speech of his week-long foreign tour, around 200 000 thousand people came to listen to the Illinois senator, according to police estimates. Obama urged Europe to stand by the United States in bringing stability to Afghanistan and confronting other threats, from climate change to nuclear proliferation. Joanna Partridge reports |
