LINCOLN -- The SEM Lady Mustang season concluded last Thursday evening with a first round loss to Chambers 51-68.
Chambers took control of the game from the start as they jumped to an early 20-point first quarter lead over the Lady Mustangs. The Lady Mustangs though did not give up, they worked harder defensively and fought through the mistakes that led to the 20-point deficit. The Lady Mustangs outscored Chambers in the final three quarters 43-40.
In the first quarter, the Lady Mustangs were victims of a tough Chambers full-court press that forced the Mustangs into turnovers resulting in Chambers points. The Lady Mustangs gave up 28 points in the first quarter, 17 of those points were scored by Chambers’ guards Erin DeVries and Kelsey Owen.

Great game tonight, Bow Indians.  Let's do it again next week. - Lori Jackson

If your not a winter sports athlete as I wasn't, be sure
to make use of the weight room. Their is always time for conditioning when your
season begins.  Use the Weights in the off-season to add the muscle you will need to
get a leg-up on the competition.  Quote from my Favorite Track Coach  "If you want
to make it to the Big City (Omaha) you have to be Fast.  If you want to make it and
do well, YOU GOTTA ADD THE MUSCLE!" -Joshua Curlile
