Bow has good SWC showing PDF Print E-mail

    The Broken Bow Indians traveled to Gothenburg on a rainy Saturday to participate in the Southwest Conference meet. The Lady Indians claimed second place overall as they finished just 4 points behind Gothenburg. The boys team finished in fifth place as the Swedes claimed the boys title as well.
    The Lady Indians got off to a quick start as Shelby Hamilton claimed the first of 2 gold medals in the long jump. Chelsey Jones also competed in the event and was able to finish in sixth place.
    Hamilton then competed in the 400 meter dash and was able to claim her second gold of the day. Jones later competed in the high jump where she would take fifth.
    The Lady Indians had a strong showing the 3200 meter run as Katie White won the event. Jena Miller made her return from a calf injury to finish in fifth place for Bow.
    White grabbed another gold as she was victorious in the 1600 meter run as well. Kinsey Clark took fifth place for the Lady Indians in the same event.

Bow hosts Custer County Invite PDF Print E-mail

ImageThe Ansley Warriors hosted the Custer County Invitational track meet last week, which took place in Broken Bow.
    The meet included athletes from 7 area schools. Those teams competing consisted of Ansley, Sargent, Litchfield, Callaway, Loup County, Anselmo-Merna and the Broken Bow JV.

Mullen sweeps SHC PDF Print E-mail

    Sandhills, Thedford and Mullen all competed in the Sandhills Conference track meet last week in Arnold.
    Area athletes competed well in the meet, particularly members of the Mullen track squad. The Lady Broncos claimed the overall title, as did their male counterparts.
