Bowers appointed County Attorney

October 11, 2012

The Custer County Board of Supervisors Tuesday appointed Steven Bowers as the new Custer County Attorney.
The office of Custer County Attorney was vacated when Tami Schendt was appointed to succeed Gary Washburn as County Court Judge. There are two years left on Schendt’s term as county attorney.
Bowers was one of four candidates interviewed for the position by the board Sept. 25. He was recently appointed to serve as Deputy County Attorney by acting County Attorney Glenn Clark.
