Brett M. Kramer, 21, of Litchfield died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Litchfield Christian Church, with the Rev. George Reitz officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Creek Cemetery in Custer County. Visitation will be Thursday prior to service time, at the church. Memorials are suggested to the family. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
Brett M. Kramer was born July 31, 1990 in Kearney, Nebraska to Earl â€śFrenchieâ€ť and Becky Kramer. Brett lived the first year of his life in Broken Bow and then moved to Litchfield and grew up on a farm/ranch operation six miles west of Litchfield.
He graduated from Litchfield High School in 2008 and Central Community College in Hastings in December 2010 with an AAS in Welding Technology.
Brett enjoyed sports, hunting, shooting sports and anything outside. Never sitting still, Brett could always be found ranching, haying or welding.
He worked for Swisher Custom Hay in Halsey, Nebraska from July 2006 to August 2010.
After finishing college he began work as a Facility Service Technician at Adams Land and Cattle in Broken Bow.
Survivors include his parents of Litchfield, two brothers, Jacob Kramer and Austin Kramer, one sister, Deshia Kramer all of Litchfield and grandparents, Amy Kramer of Broken Bow and John and Judy Mills of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leslie Kramer.
