Broken Bow’s Runza wins 2011 National Award

Runza Rex delighted the children at the Lighted Christmas Parade Monday evening in Broken Bow.

The Broken Bow Runza Restaurant and Franchisees Kevin and Joyce Richardson have been honored with the 2011 Community Marketing Achievement Award from Runza National.
The award recognizes a store and staff dedicated to making a positive impact in their community. Runza National will make a donation in the store's name to a localnon-profit organization.
The donation will support two college students from Broken Bow traveling to Belize to teach as well as Central Nebraska Community Services. The Belize funds will help purchase and ship books, balls and playground equipment and the Community Services monies will provide needed gas and grocery gift cards to elderly citizens in the area.
"The recipient of this award must be involved in neighborhood projects and believe in the importance of giving back to the community. Kevin,Joyce and their staff exceed all expectations in this area," said DonaldEverett, Jr., President of Runza National.
Runza Restaurants - famous for the Runza Sandwich operates and franchises 82 restaurants in Nebraska (76),Colorado (2), Iowa (2) and Kansas (2).
