Broken Bow council agenda for June 10, 2014

The Broken Bow City Council is set to meet at noon June 10 in the council chambers of the Broken Bow Municipal Building.

The meeting's agenda includes to following:

Approval of Consent Agenda
• Minutes – May 27, 2014 Council Meeting
• Claims – June 10, 2014 Regular Council Meeting
• Approval of Sale of Fireworks by Troy Wuehler dba Troy’s Hot Rocket Fireworks LLC at 454 East South E Street (vacant lot between Orschelns and Wenquist) June 25th through July 4th.
• Approval of Sale of Fireworks by the Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department on the North side of Highway 2 between South 8th and South 9th Avenues June 25th through July 4th
• Approval of Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department Fireworks display on July 4th at Melham Park

Mayor Cecil Burt is scheduled to bring the following before the council:
• Appointment of Cecil Burt III to the Broken Bow Park Board appointment
• Award of bid for sale of land in Thompson Addition

• Request to close the following streets on Saturday, July 27, 2013 between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. for the Custer County Fair Parade
o South B Street from Tomahawk Park to South 10th Avenue
o South 10th Avenue from South B Street to South D Street
o South D Street from South 10th Avenue to South 6th Avenue
o South 6th Avenue from South D Street to South B Street
o South B Street from South 6th Avenue back to Tomahawk Park

City Administrator Virginia Moon is scheduled to bring the following before the council:
• Approval of engineering for resurfacing and upgrading water lines on South 10th Avenue from Highway 2 north to the BNSFRR tracks and South D Street between South 9th and South 10th Avenues
• Update on City Projects
