Mike and Jeanette Johnson of Holdrege announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Johnson, to Joe Ridder, son of John and Mary Ridder of Callaway.
Miss Johnson graduated from Holdrege High, Nebraska Wesleyan University-Lincoln and Rockhurst University-Kansas City with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is currently employed by New West in Holdrege.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Callaway High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a BS in Construction Management. He is currently employed at Paulsen, Inc. in Cozad.
The couple plans to wed Aug. 27, 2011 at The First Presbyterian Church in Holdrege.
