Clarrena F. Overholser, age 72, of Pleasanton, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Memorial services were Saturday, April 6, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Kearney with Father Joe Hannappel officiating. Burial will be later in Mason City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family for designation at a later date. Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney was in charge of arrangements. Clarrena was born July 26, 1940, in Mason City, to Frank and Ann Molly (Supanchick) Cherry. She graduated from Mason City High School. Clarrena married Paul Overholser May 3, 1976, in Kearney. She enjoyed collecting antiques and also spending time with her family.
Surviving relatives include her sons, Frank Gallucci and his family of Wakefield, RI; Joseph Gallucci and his family of Cranston, RI; brother, Vern Cherry and his wife Norma of North Platte; sisters, Helen Young of Ansley, and Delores Smith and her husband Royce of Chadron; sister-in-law, Jo Cherry of Greeley, Colo.; numerous other extended family members.
Clarrena was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; brother, Everett Cherry; sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Bob McAlevy; brother-in -law, Walt Young.
