Daniel Bradford, 55

Daniel Paul Bradford, age 55, (spouse Twila Pracht Bradford) of Pharr, Texas, entered the presence of the Lord he loved and served on Feb. 17, 2012. Now “absent from the body and present with the Lord,” he is sorely missed by friends and family who look forward to one day rejoicing with him around God’s throne. Born Aug. 9, 1956, in Muskegon, Mich., Dan trusted Christ as his Savior from sin at age 9. He felt called to gospel ministry in his late teens, which was confirmed by others in his church. After graduating in 1983 with a degree from Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, Ill.) in Pastoral Studies, he furthered his education at Muskegon Business College (Muskegon, Mich.) with a degree in Business Administration .Dan began missionary service at the Rio Grande Bible Institute, Edinburg, Texas in 1982. He worked in the business office, bookroom, and radio station. He met his wife-to-be, Twila Pracht, also on the staff of RGBI, and they married in 1985, continuing their service to the Lord together. Twila is the daughter of Loyd and Esther Pracht of Broken Bow. Motivated by an overwhelming desire to know more of the Word of God, especially in the original languages, Dan moved his young family to Maryland to attend Capital Bible Seminary (Lanham). He graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree in 1993. Teaching God’s Word was Dan’s burning passion, and he sought opportunities to preach as well. Called to his first pastorate in the fall of 1993, Dan ministered over eight years at Berea Bible Church, in Clarksburg, Md. The following four years Dan pastored at Alamo Community Church in Alamo, Texas. In 2006 the Lord opened a door for Dan and his family to return to missionary work with Evangelical Mission Ministries, in Pharr, Texas. Dan ministered faithfully as a business administrator until the day of his departure to glory. He continually sought to teach the Word of God – to his family as well as dear friends in his Sunday school class at Iglesia Bautista Calvario, Weslaco, Texas. Also part of Grace Bible Baptist Church in Pharr, Texas, Dan and Twila and their children have ministered in many memorable projects in the Rio Grande Valley and Mexico.Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.
