April 28, 2011

The AAU Middle School National Wrestling Duals were held at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa April 9-10. Scott Davis competed for the Nebraska team (team Huskerland) in the 250 lb. weight class. Davis’s individual dual record of 5 wins and 3 losses qualified him for All-American honors. The tournament consisted of 34 teams from 15 states, the Huskerland team was the winner of the Copper Division. Davis earned his spot on the team by winning the AAU Nebraska State Tournament held in Hastings last March. This is the second consecutive year that Davis has represented a Nebraska team at the National Duals. Davis is now a 2-time AAU Nebraska State Champion.
