A large crowd which included students, parents, grandparents, teachers, school administrators and contractors gathered for the official ribbon cutting and open house of the new North Park Elementary School in Broken Bow Monday afternoon. The administration and school board have worked very hard to keep the children in the forefront of the bond election and construction process, and in keeping with that student representatives were selected for the ribbon cutting ceremony. A delegate from each of the five grades that will be attending North Park was drawn randomly from the class list of names. Those students were Coy Griffiths - 4th grade, Breanna Carrizales - 3rd grade, Brice Chaplin - 2nd grade, Alex Berghorst - 1st grade and Trinity Hurlburt - kindergarten.
