Garry “Hoss” Cartwright, 77

Garry D. "Hoss" Cartwright, age 77 of Omaha, died Oct. 1, 2012, in Omaha.
He was born July 30, 1935, in Grand Island, to Virgil and Edith (Christensen) Cart-wright. Hoss lived in Saipan and worked as a vocation rehabilitation administrator for the Trust Territory of the US. He was also an avid scuba diver.
He is survived by wife, Shirley; daughters, Kim Cartwright (Dee Dee Swisher) of Lincoln, Kristen (Craig) Gottschalk of Colon, Angela (Robert) Gottsch of Omaha; step-children, Richard (Teresa) Hawks of Elmwood, Kenneth (Amy) Hawks, Candace Hardy, all Omaha; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Edith Cartwright; brother, Larry Cartwright, and sister, Marilyn Fields.
No services are planned. Svoboda Funeral Home of Wahoo is in charge of arrangements.
