Jamie Ost and Nathan Rooney are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Darwin Ost of Fredonia, N.D. and Elaine Ost of Kulm, N.D. She is the granddaughter of the late Art and Pauline Ost of Kulm, N.D. and Lillian Roth and the late Jack Roth of Boise, Idaho.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Kulm High School in Kulm, N.D., and a May 2012 graduate of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.
The prospective groom is the son of Bob and Karen Rooney of Brewster, and the grandson of Aurelia Krull and the late Ferd Schneidereit and Bernice Rooney and the late Robert Rooney.
He is a 2003 gradauate of Sandhills High School and ranches on his family’s ranch near Brewster.
The couple plans to be married Jan. 20, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brewster, with Pastor Joshua Hillmann officiating.
