JB Morgan, 81 of Broken Bow, passed away Friday, Sept.23, at Golden Living Center in Broken Bow.
JB was born Aug. 15, 1930, to French and Mae (Bassett) Morgan in Erick, Okla. He was the fourth of six boys.
He attended and graduated from Erick Public Schools and attended college. After graduating from college, JB taught school for a couple of years before trying his hand at several different jobs. His favorite, however, was driving a truck.
JB loved his family - his grandkids and great-grandkids were the joys of his life. He loved to dance, and he never met a stranger.
JB collected John Deere memorabilia with his grandson, Bubba. He loved hauling the kids in the little red wagon behind his lawn mower.
Camping was a wonderful way to meet new people who always became fast friends. Jackson, Barney and Ginger were three of his favorite four-legged companions.
JB was a member of Broken Bow Lions, Masonic Lodge, Custer Campers and Loup Valley Sams.
He is survived by his wife, Bert, of Broken Bow; brother, Robert; sisters-in-law, Donna Morgan and Janece Johnson; mother-in-law, Georgia Finney; children, Dixie (Randy) Peterson, Dian (Randy) Franzen, Larry (Peg) Morgan, Sherri Morgan, Kim (James) Bunch; grandchildren, Sheri, Staci (Nat), Jessi (Amos), Jason, Dann (Amanda), Amanda, Jacie (Chris), Bubba, Josh (Catie), Dustin (Remington), Derek, Ashlee, Jimmy (Monica), Jeremy (Mary), Bonnie (Dru), Chris (Traci), Ivory and Pam; great-grandchildren, Kinsey, Kacee, Quade, TyLee, McKinnon, Whitten, Olivia, Joyce, Jaylynn, Jimma, Emma, Hanna, Jayci, Grace, Garret, Austin, Rocco and Avery; and numerous nieces, newphews and extended family.
