Jeanine Chitwood, 80

Jeanine Reneau Chitwood passed away Jan. 22, 2014, of ovarian cancer. She was born Dec. 13, 1933, close to the Middle Loup River near Gates, the youngest and only daughter of Meredith T. Reneau and Caroline M. Reneau. Her early childhood was spent near Arnold, where her parents and three brothers lived. They later moved to the Bethel Union Community north of Broken Bow where she graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1952. She loved collecting dolls, puzzles, and Christmas.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Charles Chitwood of Kersey, Colo. Other family members include daughter, Theresa Greiner (John Madden) of Potlatch, Idaho; daughter, Lissa Hernandez (Ron) of Greely, Colo.; son, Jody Greiner of Greely, Colo.; son, Jim Tate (Sharon) of Centennial, Colo.; brother, Robert Reneau (Ruby) of Denver, Colo.; brother, William Reneau (Olvida) of San Antonio,Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Jeanine's family are especially thankful for the loving care she received from Halcyon Hospice and Palliative Care P.O. Box 177 Mead, Colorado 80542 and request that donations can be made to them in her name or a charity of your choice.
