Joan Ostrand, 65

Joan Ruth Ostrand was born April 18, 1948, in Sargent to Paul and Frances Wagner. She passed away in her home in Omaha on Feb. 23, 1014.
She grew up in Nebraska living part of teen years in Broken Bow where she attended High School. Joan attended Evangel College in Springfield, Mo., before marrying David Ostrand of Ansley.
They lived in Colorado Springs, CO., where their son, Karl was born. Later they moved to Virginia Beach, VA., where they lived for 25 years.
In Virginia, Joan played a major role in operating their furniture business, while also being an amazing wife and loving mother.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Frances Wagner and is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dave, their son Karl and his wife, Julie, and their three girls; Jensen, Emerson and Adison.
She is also survived by her sister Jeanette and husband, Curt, their children; Kristin, David, and Sheree and their families as well as her mother-in-law, Yvonne Ostrand of Ansley
