Anita Alana Lott and Will Cody Jordan, both of Houston, Texas, were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 7:00 in the evening at Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Houston. Deacon John Pelletier officiated the ceremony. David L. Paxton, cantor; Carolyn Mattax; organist, and Bruce R. Baxter, Jr., cousin of the bride, provided the music for the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. Calvin R. Lott, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eddins Geyer of Arlington, Texas, and Mrs. Calvin R. Lott and the late Mr. Calvin R. Lott of Fort Worth.
The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth McGaughey of Broken Bow. He is the grandson of Mrs. Harold Peterson and the late Mr. Marlyn Jenson of Roslyn, SD, and Mrs. Robert McGaughey and the late Mr. Robert McGaughey of Gordon.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride chose an off-white Alencon lace Pronovias gown, which featured a strapless, scalloped neckline and a dropped-waist bodice with satin-covered buttons. Her romantic gown exhibited a full A-line skirt with a scalloped lace hemline that flowed into an elegant chapel-length train. She wore a Jim Hjelm double-faced silk satin ribbon to accentuate her waist. On top of the bodice, she wore a sleeveless, jewel neckline Alencon lace bolero jacket. To add a traditional touch, she wore a cathedral-length mantilla-style veil, which was adorned with beaded Alencon lace along the edge. She carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangeas, roses and off-white verbena tied in ivory satin.
Emily Brown of Fort Worth served as matron of honor. Mara Tugle of Versailles, Ky., Lindsey Crabbe of Dallas, Texas and Katherine Gehman of Houston read scripture. Kate Roylyn Anderson of Houston and Madeline Fay Anderson of Fort Worth, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls.
Canaan Whitfield-Cargile of College Station, Pa., served as best man. John Jordan of Sidney, Clint Jordan of Broken Bow, Miles Jordan of Tekamah, David Bradley of Houston, Texas, and Jake Engler of Magnolia, Texas served as ushers.
A reception followed the ceremony at the House of Blues-Houston, where family and friends enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing to music performed by The Johnny Cash Cover Band and Jason Garcia of Space City Entertainment. Floral Events of Houston designed the flowers, and Edible Designs by Jessie created the wedding cake. On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at El Tiempo Cantina in Houston.
The bride graduated from Nolan Catholic High School and Texas A&M University, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M and completed an internship in equine surgery at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She is a member of the Junior League of North Harris County and is employed by Kasper and Rigby Veterinary Associates.
The groom graduated from Broken Bow High School and the University of Nebraska, where he was a member of FarmHouse fraternity. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University, completed an internship in equine surgery at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Ky, and completed a residency in large-animal surgery at Texas A&M University. He is employed by Waller Equine Hospital.
Following a honeymoon to St. Thomas and St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Waller, Texas.
