Kurt Gilmore, 41

Kurt A. Gilmore, 41, of Miller, died Nov. 6, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
He was born Jan. 4, 1969, in Callaway, to George and Dolores (Mason) Gilmore. He grew up and received his education in Merna.
He was married to Renee Lyon June 14, 2003, in Miller. They made their home in Miller. He was self employed and worked as a landscaper.
He lived in various places including Lincoln and Hastings where he worked for Earl May.
He loved the time spent with his family and gardening.
Survivors included his wife of Miller; son, Leroy at home; daughters, Brieanna, James, Jasmine, Logan and Joelle all living at home; parents, Dolores Gilmore of Miller; and father, George Gilmore of Scurry, Texas; brother, Paul and wife Susan Gilmore of Tucson, Ariz.; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Darlene Lyon of Hastings; and special nephew, Jeremy of Holdrege. .
He was preceded in death by brothers, Dale, Leroy and Joel.
Funeral services were Nov. 10, 2010, at United Methodist Church in Miller. The Rev. Bonnie Brock and Rev. Ken Hutson officiated. Interment was in the Watertown Cemetery east of Miller.
