Leona J. Hromas Mulford, 79 of Lincoln, formerly of Broken Bow, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Leona was born April 2, 1933, in Martinsville, Mo., to Archie S. and Nina B. (Edwards) Graham.
Leona was retired as an LPN at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Mulford; children, David (Marvonne) Hromas, Steven Hromas and Cynthia Parker, all of Lincoln, and Teresa (Brad) Mattox of Kearney; step-children, Michael Mulford of Yankton, SD, Matthew Mulford, PhD of London, England, Timothy Mulford of Scotland, SD; 12 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Royce Graham of Little Rock, Ark.; sister-in-law, Laura Woodcock of Lawton, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Hromas, and daughter, Carolyn Danahy.
Funeral services were Monday, May 7, 2012, at Roper and Sons Chapel, in Lincoln with the Rev. Dr. Jim Keiser, officiating. Graveside service was May 7, at Broken Bow Cemetery with the Rev. Mary Jane Gockley officiating Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow was in charge of local arrangements. Memorials can be made to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, 5401 South Street, Lincoln, NE 68506.
