Leona McAlevy, 79
Funeral services for Leona M. McAlevy, age 79 of Merna, were Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, in The Immanel Lutheran Church in Merna with Pastor Ryan Loeslie officiating. Burial was in the Merna Cemetery with Iverson Memorial Chapel of Broken Bow in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established to the family.
Leona is survived by one son, Michael McAlevy of Merna; four daughters, Alvina (James) Granger of South Dakota, Linda (Melvin) Runningbear of Eddyville, Retta Beals of Rapid City, S.D., and Merna McAlevy of Mitchell; and three sisters, Leota Beavers of Broken Bow, Iona Fisher of Merna and Doris McAlevy of Broken Bow.
