Margie Iva (Yohn) Kvasnicka, 85, of Wilber, passed away June 12, 2012. She was born Oct. 21, 1926, in Mason City, to William and Christina (Albrecht) Yohn
Margie attended Mason City School. She married Edwin Price, and to this union four children were born.
While working at Russell Stovers, she attended Lincoln School of Commerce then started working at the Nebraska Bookstore.
From her love of polka music she met Milo Kvasnicka. They were later married, Aug. 9, 1969. The couple lived together on their farmstead south of Crete, where Margie was happy to become a farm wife. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and farming. She could always be counted on for sweet treats for her family and friends.
In addition to being a farm wife she worked at Petersons Manufacturing for eight years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide, former President VFW Auxilary and an avid bowler.
Margie is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Milo; daughters, Sharon (Gerry) Limbeck of Katy, Texas, and Diana (John) Spellman, of Malcolm; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Jeff, Scott, Kelly, Matthew, Christina, and Corey; eight great-grandchildren, Laura, Jacob, Haley, Michael, Trevor, Holdin, Kyle, and Kaleb; sister, Alberta Haddix of Ogallala, brothers-in-law, Ralph Ferguson and Louie Ingram; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Penny; son, Ronald; brother, Harold; sisters, Viola and LaVada, and niece Gail Ann Kotas.
Funeral services were Friday, June 15, at St. John Lutheran Church in Kramer, with Pastor Joshua Hayes officiating. Pallbearers were Jeff Spellman, Kelly Spellman, Scott Ellis, Matthew Dalton, Rod Skleba, Cory Skleba. Honorary Pallbearers were Clem Salda, Alvin Vlcek, Melvin Plouzek
Interment was in Wilber Czech Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family.
