Memorial Day Service schedules

The Broken Bow Fire Department’s new flag, purchased by the Clay Family Memorial in memory of Randy Clay and the Gun Club Memorial, is pictured here. The Fire Department intends to display the flag on Memorial Day, at military funerals and other such occasions. “It almost makes you want to cry, it’s so beautiful,” said Janet Clay.

Memorial Day Services will be conducted throughout the area at the following locations:

Broken Bow Township Cemetery sponsored by the American Legion Post 126 beginning at 9 a.m.

Ansley Legion Hall beginning with coffee and rolls at 8 a.m., with Memorial Services at the Ansley Cemetery beginning at 11 a.m. followed by dinner at 11:30 a.m. at the Ansley Legion Hall sponsored by the Ansley American Legion Auxiliary.

Arnold Cemetery beginning at 10 a.m.

Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway beginning at 10 a.m.

Douglas Grove Cemetery at Comstock beginning at 10 am

Litchfield Cemetery beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Day luncheon served at the Winter’s Building in Litchfield from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The luncheon is sponsored by the Litchfield united Methodist Church.

Mason City Cemetery beginning at 1 p.m.

Merna Cemetery beginning at 10 a.m. and sponsored by the Merna American Legion

Oconto Legion Hall beginning at 10 a.m.

Sumner Community Center beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Westerville Cemetery beginning at 10 a.m.
