Mr. & Mrs. Dean Zoerb
Dean Zoerb of Wood River, and Julie Albers of Minden, were united in marriage Friday, July 1, 2011, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Pleasanton, with Pastor Dean Hanson officiating, in a private family wedding with a Hawaiian theme.
Parents attending were Gail Zoerb of Mason City, mother of the groom, and Vernon and Lois Christensen of Minden, father and mother of the bride.
Matron of honor was Sheila Stubbs, sister of the bride, and best man was Kurt Koepp, friend of the groom. Flower girl was Doris Zoerb, grandmother of the groom, and ring bearer was Tanner Gibb, son of the groom.
A reception was held at the church after the ceremony and family members camped at Sherman Lake with the newlyweds over the weekend. A honeymoon cruise is planned by the couple next spring.
The couple will reside north of Minden.
