Nativity scenes go on display in Broken Bow

December 2, 2013

Light of Christ Nativity display kicks off Christmas Season.

Dozens of unique nativity scenes will be on display Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 4th and 5th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Broken Bow from 6 - 8:30 p.m. each evening. The Light of Christ Nativity Display will be set-up throughout the Church, and the entire community is invited to stop by and enjoy viewing the nativity scenes and refreshments. The Church is located at 1108 South First Avenue in Broken Bow. It is hoped that the event will become an annual activity and serve as a great way to get everyone into the Christmas Spirit.

Those able to loan a nativity set to be displayed as part of the Light of Christ Nativity Display are encouraged to bring their sets to the Church Dec. 2 or Dec. 3 from 7-8 p.m.

All loaned nativity sets should be labeled with the owner’s name and phone number, and can be picked up from the Church when the event is over, on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. - noon, or other pick-up arrangements can be made. Loaned nativity sets will be secured at all times. Additional information about the Light of Christ Nativity Display is available by calling 308-870-4091.
