Priscilla “Pat” Fortik Ring, 78 of Kearney, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at her residence. A private service for immediate family will be held. The family requests no flowers. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. On-line condolences may be shared at osrfh.com. O'Brien

She was born June 7, 1935, in Custer County. Survivors include sons, Bill Carlson and his wife, Michele of Lincoln, Dan Carlson and his wife, Mary of Wetmore, Colo.; daughter, Cindy McMinn and special friend, Rich Loibl of Gothenburg; brother, Doug Fortik and his wife, Pat of Winnamuca, Nev.; grandchildren, Bryce Carlson of Lincoln, Amber (Eric) Toombs of Lincoln, Melissa McMinn of Kearney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Portia (Dobesh) Fortik, and one grandson.
