Ralph Shoemaker, 73

Ralph Shoemaker, age 73 of Ansley, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at the UNMC in Omaha.
Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 1, at the First Baptist Church in Ansley with the Rev. Bill Ragan and the Rev. Don Schauda officiating. Burial was in the Box Elder Cemetery at Cumro. Memorials have been established to the family. Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow was in charge of arrangements.
Ralph E. Shoemaker was born Oct. 21, 1938, at Cumro, to Ross and Hazel (Sorensen) Shoemaker. Ralph attended school at Flat Bottom rural school and graduated from Ansley High School.
December 27, 1964, he was married to Eunice Crawford.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Eunice, of Ansley; a son, Eric of Mason City; three grandchildren, Heaven, Michael and Wyatt, and two great-grandchildren, Joe and Kimberly. He is also survived by a brother, Melvin (Arlene) Shoemaker of Kearney, and two sisters Elaine (Norman) Anderson of Broken Bow, and Lois (Cliff) Jameson of Kearney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Ralph; a brother, Eldon Shoemaker, and sister-in-law, Linda Shoemaker.
