Randy Jay Lichtenberger, age 55 of Mason City, died Monday March 12, 2012, at his home in Mason City.
Memorial services were Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with the Rev. John Gosswein officiating. Memori-als may be given to the family.
Randy Jay Lichtenberger was born July 7, 1956, to Jay and Reta (Stithem) Lichten-berger at Broken Bow. In October 1959, they moved to California. Randy attended grade school at Fellows, Calif., and graduated from Taft, Calif. High School.
He worked for Texaco Oil in the oil fields. In the late 1990s he moved back to Nebraska. Before he became ill he worked at Crossroads Welding in Miller.
Randy is survived by his daughters, Misty Larsen of Bakersfield, Calif., Brandi Hudson of Taft, Calif., and Amber Lichtenberger of Taft, Calif.; five grandchildren, Mark, Michael, and Morgan Larsen, Alister Hudson and Kelsey Lichtenberger; his father, Jay Lichtenberger of Kearney; sisters, Debbie Lichtenberger of Kearney, Tammy (John) Hunt of Mason City, and Peggie Lichtenberger of Taylor, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Reta, and a brother, Rodney.
