Rolan Jensen, 87

Rolan D. Jensen, 87, of Mason City, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Graveside Service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Basin Cemetery south of Mason City. Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Hazard. The Rev. Dean Hanson will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the church. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
Rolan Jensen was born Nov. 13, 1924, near Mason City, to Edward and Gladys (Olsen) Jensen. He was a graduate of Mason City High School.
He lived on a farm south of Mason City all of his life.
Rolan loved playing town team and semi-pro baseball, hunting and attending many area sporting events. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Marian Rasmussen of Pleasanton and Carolyn Ostrand of Mason City; and one brother, Maynard Jensen of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
