Sargent runs over Coyotes, improve to 4-0

MERNA -- The Sargent Bulldogs jump out to a 48-0 lead midway through the second quarter before Anselmo-Merna scored their first touchdown. Joseph Christen scored twice in the second quarter but the Coyotes still trailed the Bulldogs 48-22 at halftime.
In the third quarter, Sargent’s Guy Fenske threw three touchdown passes to put the game away for the Bulldogs.
Sargent will host winless SMC Friday while Anselmo-Merna must travel to Mullen.
