Sargent/Burwell, SEM finish one, two at A-M Invite

MERNA -- The Anselmo-Merna Coyotes hosted their wrestling invitational last Saturday. Sargent/Burwell won the team title with 183 total points and five individual champions. S-E-M placed second with 158.5 points and three individual champions. Anselmo-Merna placed fourth with two individual champions and Ansley/Arcadia placed fifth with one individual champion.
The Outstanding Wrestler Award went to S-E-M’s Collin Donahoo who was the 189 pound champion.

Mullen fifth at Class C dominated Gordon-Rushville Invitational

GORDON -- The Mullen Broncos traveled to Gordon for the Gordon-Rushville Invite last Saturday in a Class C dominated field. The Broncos held their own and finished in the Top 5 with 79 team points. Mullen earned two second place medals, one third place medal and two fourth place medals.

Indians sixth at Holdrege Invite

HOLDREGE -- The Broken Bow Indians traveled to the Holdrege Invite last Saturday with five wrestlers bringing home medals. The Indians earned one first place medal, one second, one third and two fourth place medals. As a team, the Indians scored 72 points which was good for sixth place among 10 teams.
The Indians also competed against St. Paul and Nortwest at the St. Paul Triangular last Thursday.
