Sod house stories shared at meeting

The June meeting of the National Sod House Society will be June 29, at the Nebraska Prairie Museum in Holdrege, with registration at 9 a.m. This meeting is open to the public and will include a special program of personal life stories about persons who dwelt in sod houses in Nebraska. Among the presentation will be the children of the Clinton and Mary Health family, who will be telling their personal story and frame house in the New Hope community, 10 miles south of Broken Bow on the Sumner Road.
